WPC Decoration Fence Panel is made of wood fiber (wood powder, bamboo powder, etc.) and polymer resin (such as polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP, polyvinyl chloride PVC) through co-extrusion or injection molding. Its microstructure is as follows:

Continuous phase: the plastic matrix evenly wraps the wood fiber to form a dense waterproof layer, which blocks the invasion path of moisture and microorganisms;
Discontinuous phase: Wood fiber is dispersed in plastic, providing rigidity and impact resistance similar to wood.

The composite structure integrates the natural texture of wood materials and the chemical stability of plastics, and realizes the recycling of resources (the proportion of waste wood and recycled plastics can reach 60%-70%), which conforms to the concept of circular economy.

Weather resistance: anti-ultraviolet additive and compact structure make it have high dimensional stability at -30℃ to 70℃ (the coefficient of thermal expansion and contraction is lower than that of natural wood by 30%), and there is no cracking and warping phenomenon after long-term use.
Anti-corrosion and moth-proofing: the plastic matrix is isolated from water, and the water absorption rate is only 0.5%-0.8% (natural wood reaches 20.6%), completely eliminating fungal corrosion and insect and ant erosion.

Mechanical properties and durability

The density is 0.6-1.2 g/cm, the hardness is more than 58 (Shore hardness), and the wear resistance is 2-3 times that of natural wood.
Bending strength ≥30 MPa, can withstand strong wind pressure and mechanical impact, and its service life is over 15 years.

Replacing wood with WPC per ton can reduce deforestation by 1 m and greenhouse gas emissions by 1.8 tons.
The surface does not need to be painted and maintained, but only needs to be washed regularly with clear water to maintain the appearance, and the maintenance cost is 70% lower than that of wood.
