Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet-Bendable MCM Soft Stone Cladding for Curved Walls & Facade Retrofit

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet-The Professional Choice for Architects, Facade Contractors & Hotel and Retail Fit-out Teams

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet is an ultra-thin modified-clay composite cladding engineered for architects, facade contractors, hotel and retail fit-out teams and renovation distributors. Natural stone powder and inorganic pigments are bonded into a 2–5mm sheet that reproduces travertine, slate, granite, rammed-earth and wood-look textures while bending around columns, curved walls and complex geometry. At 3–5 kg per square metre it can be installed directly over existing finishes with adhesive and hand tools - no structural upgrade, no wet trades, no demolition.

On a flat wall, several products can copy stone. On a curve, they cannot. A radius forces a rigid sheet into mitres, trims and a line of joints that reads as a mistake - and once that happens the design intent is handed back to plaster or paint. A veneer that bends keeps the stone read unbroken from the first column return to the last stair soffit.

The sheet is built from natural stone powder, a modified clay and polymer binder, and inorganic pigments. Texture is produced by laser engraving and inkjet printing with inorganic ink, so the surface carries the reference it was matched to rather than a generic pattern, and the colour sits in the print layer instead of fading out of a coat. Nothing in the make-up off-gasses once the sheet is on the wall.

Sheets are produced at a single plant in Hangzhou, China, and exported by Hangzhou Feihuang Industry Co., Ltd. under the naturwing brand, supplying architects, facade contractors, fit-out teams and renovation distributors worldwide.

Why Designers and Contractors Shortlist Flexible Stone

1. Bendable Sheet : Stone Finish on Curves and Columns

The sheet flexes around columns, barrel vaults, lift-lobby returns and stair soffits, which rigid tile, slab and stone veneer cannot follow without cutting and visible joints.

Key Benefits:

One sheet round the radius : the stone read continues instead of breaking into mitres

Joint lines kept to a minimum : fewer seams to align, and none of them where the eye expects one

Cut on site by hand : scissors or a knife, so a return or a socket does not wait for a workshop

Works on awkward geometry : barrel vaults, spiral soffits and column capitals all take the sheet

Design-led scope retained : the curved portion stops defaulting to plaster or paint

Why this matters to B2B buyers: Curved surfaces are where rigid products lose the specification-offering a bendable stone sheet opens the design-led portion of a project that would otherwise go to paint or plaster.

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet

2. One-Tenth the Weight : Retrofit Without Structural Work

At 3–5 kg/sqm, the cladding can be applied over existing render, tile or painted walls without demolition, scaffolding load or substrate strengthening.

Key Benefits:

Over-clad what is already there : the old finish stays put and becomes the substrate

No demolition waste : no skips, no strip-out labour, no disposal cost on the programme

Scaffold stays light : the load on the access system does not change the access design

Occupied buildings stay occupied : a wing can be closed for days rather than weeks

Programme shortened at both ends : no strip-out to sequence and no making good afterwards

Why this matters to B2B buyers: Hotel and retail refurbishment is won on programme and downtime - a lightweight over-clad system converts a multi-week stone replacement into a short installation window.

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet

3. A2 Class Fire Rating : Usable in Public and High-Rise Work

A2 class (GB 8624) limited-combustibility compliance supports submittals for hotels, hospitals, schools, transit and high-rise facades.

Key Benefits:

A2 to GB 8624 : the classification facade tender lists filter on first

Low-VOC inorganic build : no organic solvent to declare on an indoor-air schedule

Interior and exterior in one spec : the same sheet covers a lobby wall and an exposed elevation

Stays in the running : the product survives value engineering instead of being cut at the first review

Documentation ready : classification evidence assembled for the submittal pack

Why this matters to B2B buyers: Fire classification is the first filter on facade tender lists - an A2-rated sheet keeps the product in the running instead of being value-engineered out.

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet

4. 1,000+ Stone Textures : One Supplier, Whole Scheme

Travertine, slate, granite, marble, rammed-earth and wood-look surfaces are produced through laser engraving and inkjet printing with inorganic ink, matching natural stone references closely.

Key Benefits:

Deep library, single order : a whole facade palette ships from one factory

Re-orders hold the tone : each texture is printed against a retained production master

Trim and corners match : matching profiles close angles in the same finish as the field

Mix textures in one scheme : stone, rammed earth and wood-look sit together without a second supplier

Fewer names on the approved list : one vendor covers the facade package

Why this matters to B2B buyers: A deep texture library lets a distributor list a full facade range rather than a single SKU, and reduces the number of suppliers on the approved list.

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet

5. Thin, Flexible, Export-Friendly Logistics

Thin sheets stack densely on pallets, so a container carries far more square metres than with slab products, cutting freight per square metre.

Certification

Market / Standard

Value for B2B Buyers

A2 fire class

GB 8624 (China)

Limited-combustibility evidence for facade tender lists and high-rise submittals

No-VOC formulation

Indoor air, Europe & Asia

Inorganic pigment and binder - nothing to off-gas once the sheet is up

ISO 9001 (quality management)

Worldwide

Audited system sitting behind every production batch

Accredited lab testing

Worldwide

Reports issued against each batch for the tender file

Waterproof & stain-resistance data

Worldwide

Evidence behind the exterior-use and wipe-clean claims

Key Benefits:

Container loading density : freight per square metre falls because the sheet is only 2–5mm thick

Pallet formats that stack : layouts built so the corners take the handling, not the face

Carton with corner protection : protection where the pallet straps bite and the forklift meets the load

Arrives flat and reusable : nothing to chip at the edge of a rigid panel

Landed cost that works : freight is the line that decides whether a stone alternative prices in

Why this matters to B2B buyers: Freight per square metre often decides whether a natural-stone-alternative product is landable at the destination price point.

Pain Points

Pain Point

How naturwing Solves It

A curved elevation has no stone product that fits it

A bendable sheet wraps the radius, so the stone read holds round columns and barrel vaults

Strip-out closes the building for weeks

Sheets bond straight over render, tile and paint - no demolition, no skip, no making good

Substrate cannot carry a stone weight

3–5 kg/sqm adds effectively nothing, so no strengthening and no scaffold redesign

Facade submittal is cut at the fire review

A2 class to GB 8624 with the classification evidence assembled for the pack

Texture range spread over several suppliers

1,000+ textures from one factory, with matching trim in the same finish

Freight kills the landed price

Dense pallet stacking carries far more square metres per container than slab

Company Strength

Flexible Stone Veneer Sheet

Stone powder, binder, pigment and print all come together at one plant in Hangzhou, China, where Hangzhou Feihuang Industry Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells abroad as naturwing. Keeping mixing, engraving, printing and packing on the same site is what makes the 1,000-plus texture library repeatable rather than a series of one-off runs.

Our Manufacturing Capabilities:

Stone powder, binder and pigment mixed and calendered in-house

Laser engraving and inorganic-ink printing on the same site as the mixing

Texture library held as production masters, so a re-order prints to the retained reference

Sheet thickness checked through each production run

Production slots allocated to fit-out and retrofit deadlines rather than to a simple order queue

ISO 9001 audit covering every production batch

Quality Assurance:

A2 performance re-tested at an accredited laboratory

VOC content measured against the indoor-air limit before a texture is released

Every texture printed to a retained master, so a later order matches the approved sample

Batch records filed per pallet, so a delivered sheet traces back to its run

Report file travels with the consignment

Pallet build inspected for corner protection and stacking before loading

FAQ

Q: Is there a minimum quantity for a custom texture?

A: 50–100 square metres for a custom texture. Stocked lines can be tried in smaller trial quantities first, which suits a designer proving a radius or a colour on site.

Q: What sizes are available?

A: 600×1200mm as standard, and 600×2400mm or 1200×2400mm for taller panels. Larger formats and other sizes are produced to order.

Q: How thin and how heavy is the sheet?

A: Between 2mm and 5mm thick, at roughly 3–5 kg per square metre - about a tenth of the weight of the stone it copies.

Q: How tightly can it bend?

A: The sheet wraps columns, barrel vaults and stair soffits without mitring. Send us the radius, the texture and the substrate, and we will confirm the tightest bend for that build before you specify it.

Q: Can it be used on an exterior facade?

A: Yes. The sheet is waterproof and rated A2 to GB 8624, so one product serves both an interior feature wall and an exposed elevation.

Q: What fire and indoor-air documents come with an order?

A: The A2 (GB 8624) classification evidence and the no-VOC formulation data, ready to drop into a facade or interior submittal package.

Q: Can it go over existing tile, render or paint?

A: That is the main use case. The sheet bonds directly to sound, dry substrates with adhesive, so a refurbishment usually avoids a strip-back altogether.

Q: How is it cut and fixed on site?

A: Scissors or a utility knife, then adhesive applied to the back and pressed down by hand. No wet saw, no wet trades and no special lifting equipment.

Q: How is it packed, and what is the lead time?

A: Carton with corner protection on wooden pallets. Production runs 7–15 days for a 50–1,000 square metre order, with phased releases for larger schemes.
